First about the 'pay as you go' Air Conditioning and Heating. It may be a little off putting to people at first, but every other place we've stayed at here repeatedly reminds you to turn off the units before leaving. So we are certain that the units were left on before and the owner had a large electric bill. So we understand this and it should be factored into your decision (add a few euros a week to a stay). I would not put more than a couple of euros in a day as the cost was not high. The other item in reviews is the television. Of course you don't come to Gozo to watch TV, but the current standard for a rental like this is a better TV, so that should be upgraded. Overall the unit was exactly as advertised and super easy get around Gozo from. You are in the middle of the island on the main street which is convenient. There is some noise and, if you stay on a weekend, the club Flamingo across the street can be heard late at night. The owners were very quick with any requests.

The apartment was extremely spacious and clean. A decent size balcony out front to sit and watch the busy hustle and bustle of every day life. In perfect walking distance to shops, restaurants, the park, bus station and the beautiful centre of town. We have visited Gozo many times and found this apartment to be a perfect location. My only criticism is that two of the bedrooms had single beds, for whatever reason? The hairdryer needs to be changed too.
