Adored our stay in The Prodigal Daughter. The property is divine, the vineyard, lake and surrounds will bring you the upmost serenity. The cottage is clean, well-fitted and the small additions left by David and Mary will make you feel right at home. The kitchen has everything you require and the bathroom is beautiful and modern with great water pressure. The recommendations for food and coffee in the area were excellent, and we highly recommend heading down to the Cellar Door for a tasting. Our stay was personable yet private and full of peace. I look forward to staying again 🍷☀️🍇

Cosy cabins right by the winery. Do yourself a favour and organise a bottle of their wine to be delivered to your cabin prior to arrival and sit outside with a glass of wine and put a record on - bliss! On a personal note, Mary and David were so kind and helpful after we hit a kangaroo on the road in, made to feel welcome. Thank you.

Mary and Dave are great hosts, very friendly, approachable and helpful. We attended a Ross Wilson (Daddy Cool / Mondo Rock) event and stayed the night in one of the cottages. The music event rocked, the venue was great and the cottages are very clean and cosy in beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend attending one of Tallagandra's music events, staying a night or two in one of the cottages or even just dropping in on a weekend to try some of thier local wines. Mary was a gracious host. She communicated clearly and made the check-in and check-out process easily and accessible. The accomodation itself was spectacular. We stayed at the start of spring, when the rain had turned all the hills and fields a beautiful green. The cottage was homely, modern and, against the backdrop of the vineyard and a small pond, made for a serene and relaxing experience! Woul highly recommend to anyway passing through, or even for those in Canberra who want a weekend to relax and recharge.

Beautifully decorated and clean comfortable cottage in the most amazing setting. The two ladies in the cellar door were really knowledgeable and super friendly and the Shane Nicholson concert in the beautifully appointed events shed was intimate and AMAZING. Great wine, great food, great location. What else could you want on a weekend away.
