The place itself was beautiful and the location was also perfect in the middle of the city. Would definitely stay here again! The host was responsive with any questions and helped us arrange transportation to the AirBnB. They also provided lots of recommendations for visiting Aix.

We had a great stay at Maison des Art! The apartment has an incredible collection of art and furniture - we could spend an entire day just exploring their collection on display in each room. The location is ideal, right in the heart of the old city in Aix. This was perfect for popping out for cafes and restaurants and generally exploring the city by foot. However, you cannot drive a car to the apartment, so if you're coming by car, be prepared for a short (5min) walk with your luggage from one of the nearby parking garages. You will also need to coordinate with the airbnb manager to enter the apartment for the first time, so late night arrivals may be tough. Lastly, there was a little bit of street noise at night that could be heard from two of the three bedrooms, but it was nothing that a white noise machine couldn't solve in our experience. All in all the apartment is an art lover's dream and a perfect home base for exploring the city by foot!

Great location, Super clean, Easy fast and accommodating communication. The apartment is super convenient for use with basically two separate sections, each with it's own living room, which provided privacy for my parents in one section, and my wife and I and our daughter in the other section. The lofted bedroom (where my wife and I slept) faces the street, so was noisy at night, and it has low beams so you need to duck to move around. Will definitely come back.

Mason Des Art is a wonderful place to stay in Aix. It is historic and beautiful. The host was extremely kind and welcoming. It is walking distance to so many delicious restaurants and great shopping. Aix at Christmas-time is magical. The Christmas market was so fun to wander through. Live music, lots of yummy food, unique artisan vendors, and very festive decorations. This was a perfect rental for our family of 5!
