An incredible waterside stay in beautiful surroundings and excellent decor. A truly tranquil place hosted by the always helpful Sunish and the charming owner David. 5 stars highly recommended

We had great time at the property! The rooms are very beautiful and truly make you feel one with nature. Meals are served at a cute hutmemt which is just by the river. The best part of the property is the river. One can rent a couple of kayaks and just explore around! We had a great time diving into the water too. David served great food - chicken, fish and veggies cooked in Kerala style. The place is a must visit!

We travelled as a family with two small kids. My perspective is formed by this experience. There were cockroaches in the room and rats in the open bathroom. While the room is beautifully furnished and decorated, the surrounding is not as clean and cared for as one would expect. There is stuff laying around and broken furniture is occupying the space. In general, the space is much smaller than the nice pics suggest. We were disappointed and checked out sooner than we wanted to.

We spent a couple of days at David’s place in Champakulam. Firstly, it’s a stunning location. Private little spot on the backwaters. You really get the true meaning of tranquility. Rooms are beautifully curated and David also helped us with arranging a private backwater boat trip. But I have to also add that for the price you pay, the service and staff are overworked and slow.
