We’ve stayed at lots of great AirBnBs, but Amy & Bob’s cottage in Ojai is about as good as it gets. Everything, inside and out, is so thoughtfully done, leaving you free to do (or not do) whatever you want. We both worked full time from the cottage with ease. The rest of our day was spent lounging in the citrus grove, strolling the Arbolada neighborhood, tending the vegetable garden, running the bike path, hiking Los Padres (the trailheads are a walk or short drive from the cottage), surfing Ventura’s coast, & soaking in those famous Ojai sunsets. Bob & Amy took care of everything else. In short, there’s no better place than Bob & Amy’s Arbolada cottage to take in the wonders of the valley “famous even in California for the abundance and loveliness of its evergreen oaks”.

Beautiful Cottage, Great Location, Wonderful Hosts! We rented this lovely cottage for two months for our adult daughters to stay nearby. It was everything Amy and Bob promise in their write-up and is even nicer in person than the pictures. From welcoming gifts to being incredibly responsive and great to deal with on even the smallest things during their stay, our daughters couldn't say enough about how positive the experience of being there was. I have no doubt that they will return to visit Amy and Bob when they're back in Ojai, whether they're staying at the cottage, or not! Feel very safe renting this idyllic sanctuary -- you won't be disappointed.

This was our best AirBnB experience so far, one we would rate 6 stars if we could. The place was great for us: a couple with one baby. The house, while on the same property as Amy & Bob's one, feels private. We loved having the view of nature and wildlife. Inside, there is a cosy feeling, wonderful decor, and top notch appliances. The kitchen for example was much better equipped to actually cook than what we ever had in an AirBnB. The bedding too was the best. Great outdoor space, well equiped too. Great walking in the neighborhood. Take the car and you are 10 minutes away from trailheads, which we enjoyed too. Ventura is not too far for the weekly grocery shopping, but there are local options as well. Amy & Bob were welcoming while never invasive, open to remarks on details and prompt in solving issues. Really great hosts for a long stay. We could continue with praises, but we hope we haven't said too much already and that you will still be surprised :D. Enjoy your stay there.

So wonderful and beautiful! Amy and Bib are wonderful hosts and the cottage was amazing. I can still smell the beautiful orange blossoms. Loved it!!!
