房子不大，wifi信号不好，热水不足

As a host, I understand the importance of reviews. I have never given a poor review. Unfortunately, I experienced much of the same as the previous guest (I hadn't seen her review, it was too close to my reservation). There were tools out, exposed electric, the house appeared as if in the middle of a poorly done remodel. The bathrooms were not clean, I was uncomfortable taking a shower. Instead of relaxing the morning of our departure, we decided to leave as soon as possible. The beds were not comfortable, the house was overly cluttered. I also received an odd call from David apologizing for dog feces on a blanket, I had no idea what he was referring to. The plumbing backed up, feces backed into the shower on the last day. When I messaged David about the issue, he called and said "it was due to "tampax" and what did I know about that". There were two women in the house and neither needing to use those. I also felt pressured to leave a positive review, which I think should not be asked.

The photos in the listing are not representative of the home. Not only was the home unnecessarily cluttered, but screws lying on the floor, hair in the bath tub (that we never used), expired food in the fridge, and dusty surfaces made it seem as if it hadn't been deeply cleaned prior to our arrival. Thankfully, the sheets seemed to be clean which was what relieved us enough to decide to stay. David greeted us at check in and gave us a property tour as well as sent us food recommendations during our stay. Overall, the lack of transparency as to what we were getting ourselves into was our biggest frustration. David did leave many notes around the home and let us know to contact him if we had any issues but with further investigation into the negative reviews left by previous guests it became apparent David doesn't respond well to criticism, so rather than ruining our weekend with the confrontation, we opted to just spend our time exploring Santa Fe, spending minimal time at the home.

Excellent experience! The house was clean and comfortable for our group of 7. Bathrooms were recently nicely remodeled and clean. Great shower pressure! Beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets. Wonderful location! We felt safe in the neighborhood and it was close to everything! Easy drive to downtown or Meow Wolf. We would definitely stay here again!

David is one of the hosts that I think deserves a 6 star. Provided instruction starting from reservation to checking-out. Very kind of providing local recommendation and very responsive on all the accommodation. 100% recommend to everyone to stay in David's property.
