This space enjoys the advantage of being close to the airport. You can hear the faint roar of planes as they come and go. You may also hear some vehicular sounds as we are near a main road.
It is a typically quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood. There is a doctor, pharmacy, gas station, supermarket and hardware store all within 0.2 km/2 minutes walking distance away.
The DHL USA visa collection office is 1 km/10 minutes walk away. We are 1.1km/10 minutes walk from the lovely "Villages at Coverley" where they are several eateries, a food market, coffee shop, medical center & gym.
We are also 7.4km/8 minutes drive from Sheraton Mall, the largest variety of shopping, dining and entertainment options in Barbados. It boasts having over 120 stores including a six screen multiplex cinema, spa and salon services, cellular service providers, doctor and homeopathic services.
Ten minutes/3.8km drive from the popular nightlife in Oistins & nearest beach called Enterprise "Miami" Beach". (see photos) St. Lawrence Gap, 5.9km/15 mins. away, is where the hottest parties/fetes are at on the South coast. There you can also sample an array of restaurant foods and dining options.
We are in short walking or driving distance to all the good stuff and we want you to experience it all!
I have lived in this area for 14 years & I can say the neighborhood is not known for criminal activity however, we encourage all our guests to practice the same level of security as they would in their hometown.

Airport Pickup
Airport taxis are available for a charge of approx. $10-$15USD. They are registered and safe. (A constant exchange rate of 2 Barbadian dollars to 1 U.S. dollar is accepted on the island)
We are conveniently located in the parish of Christ Church, just off a main road, called Pilgrim Road. We are 2 minutes drive from the airport (2.8km), 20 minutes away from the main city (11km) Bridgetown and very close to the Oistins area, 10 minutes (3.8km).
Nestled in the southern part of the island, near the amazing South coast beaches, golf courses & nightlife; you can hardly be better situated. Getting around is very easy and economical.
Public Transportation
It takes approximately 2 minutes walking (0.2km) to reach the main bus route (transit). Here, you can take the bus/van route to the further south or north of the island.
Bus fare is BDS$3.50 which is USD$1.75. For the blue large government buses, you need exact fare as they do not carry money for change. All others, yellow private buses or small white ZR vans, you can pay in US$ bills or BDS$ $3.50 also. You will receive change in BDS$.
Private Transportation
In order to see the true charm of the island, I would recommend renting a car for at least a day if not more. This allows you to see places you may not on tours, and at your own pace. They are several car rental companies on the island; we can direct you to some if you wish. Just ask...
Taxi Service, island tours via sea or land, snorkeling, water sports and diving.
Mountain bikes are also available at $40 BDS/ $ 20 USD per day. This is a fun way to explore the island. Let us know if you are interested and we can arrange bike drop offs and collection.
