I would give Olga a 10 star rating, not a 5. She is hands down the nicest Airbnb owner I have met. She truly cares about her guests and their comfort. She is fun and informative and helpful. She keeps her place really clean and the kitchen if well-equipped. It is a great place to stay and I really recommend it.

Es una hermosura de lugar con acceso privado y lindo a la lgoona. Olga es bastante amigable y te hace sentir comodo desde el primer momento. te da acceso a los kayaks y un muelle privado. Siempre está disponible y con muchas ganas a ayudar a los demas. el lugar es bien tranquilo y cuenta con todo lo que necesie para sentirse agusto. Sin duda regresaré pronto! Ojo! no toman tours con los colibrís que salgan del muelle de Olaga - te cobran doble el precio (literal) de los otros tours y no te dan nada especial, al revers! te quitan lugares de tu viaje ni siquiera sin avisarte. A mi me pasó que en lugar de llevarnos al cenote negro, isla de los pajaros y al canal de los piratas, qiutaron el cenote negro sin ninguna razón y sin avisarnos. Y como que cobran doble precios de otros tours pues no vale la oena pars nada!

The value is Olga and the bonus is the laundry, kayaks, bikes, access to the lagoon, hammocks everywhere, local vendor visits and good vibes! Don’t forget the lagoon is closed on Wednesdays and you can only swim. Love it here!

This small campground is perfect for real travellers on a budget. the communal kitchen is perfect for meeting an interacting with other guests from around the world. although I do not have a camper and no tents are permitted, there are a couple of rooms in the central building and mine was comfortable and cool. Olga is a gregarious host and cares very much about guests' happiness. the campground is right on the Lagoon and has a dock that makes swimming easy. the doc is also used by sailboats that do affordable tours of the lake. I will certainly stay here again on my next trip to beautiful Bacalar!

this is us exactly as description states. if you enjoy community living, meeting other lovely and thoughtful travelers and simple accommodations, this is definitely your space. i can not tell you how amazing and convenient it is to be right on the lagoon with kayaks to use 🤯. i made so many good friends in just 2 days and was so dad to leave. olga is kind, amazing, and knows everything. you'll be in good hands. i'll be back again for sure.
