We loved our stay at Gillian's beautiful home and would definitely come back. The location was great, a half hour outside of Lunenburg, the house is also close to beaches, a general store and a stone's throw away from a heavenly swimming spot along Le Petit Rivière. The house itself was comfortable and stylish. With a well equipped kitchen and three substantial bedrooms, it was the perfect place for our small family and a treat to relax in after a day at the beach and sightseeing. Thanks Gillian!

We had an amazing time in Gillian’s home. The house was clean, well organized and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and equipped with all one would need during the stay from toaster, coffee machine, blender, pots, spices, etc., and provided a great outdoor view. The house was also well equipped with towels (including beach towels), board games and colouring materials for the kids, as well as a foosball table. The backyard was beautiful and led to a lake with a breathtaking view. The house is well located in the middle of a quiet street. There are walking paths around the beautiful area of Petite Rivière, as well as a short drive to numerous beaches, twenty minutes to the towns of Lunenburg and Bridgewater, and an hour from Halifax. A produce store, general store and bakery are within a five-minute drive, and to stock up there is a superstore in Bridgewater. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely return. We highly recommend a visit!

This is the sweetest house in the sweetest part of Nova Scotia. The house is comfortable, clean and spacious and feels really private, but is close to all the great beaches and spots along the shore. We really like to cook and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans etc. and great to work in. The host was super easy to communicate with and responsive when we needed to ask a question. Would go back in a heartbeat

We had a lovely time here. It's close to great beaches; the general store has pretty much everything you need; Ploughman's Lunch is a great spot for a quick afternoon meal; and it's a beautiful part of the province to explore. The house is comfortable for six people and great for cooking, and spending time together. We will go back!

We had a great time staying at Gillian's place. It's in a fantastic location. There are so many things to do within a 5-10 minute drive we couldn't get to everything. The met some lovely locals in the local swimming hole about 150 m down the road. The house it located on a very quiet street. There are other houses nearby, but you won't see anyone unless you go looking.
