Sehr idyllisch gelegen und auch sehr ruhig, wenn nicht gerade eine Hochzeit auf der Burg stattfindet. Gleich am zweiten Abend war eine große Hochzeitsparty mit Open Air Musik. Die Musik war bisweilen so laut, dass man auch bei geschlossenen Türen und Fenstern kein Auge zu bekommen hat. Das war sehr unangenehm, da wir am nächsten Tag eine große Wanderung geplant hatten und früh aufstehen mussten. Gott sei Dank war das aber nur an einem Abend der Fall.

The little stone farm house at Castel de Bagnolo is a very simple but beautiful refuge in this wonderful nature. It is well suited for couples and the entire space around the castle can be a very good option for several friends or families to rent the different houses all close to each other, but with a lot of privacy. We spent a week here and had a very good time. Even though some equipment had to be added up, we were very happy with the house. The most important though was the nature around us, the beautiful forests and mountains, where we could hike and have adventures. This area here in Piemont is very rural and authentic - even the villages didn't have a lot of tourists and if felt that one could easily get a glimpse of the real life here.

Eine schöne Woche in the middle of nowhere: wunderbar, mitten im Piemont zu sein, aber ganz weit weg von allem Lärm und Betrieb. Ein schönes, kleines Appartement für zwei, mitten in der Natur und in diesem beeindruckenden Ensemble von Gebäuden aus dem 16.-19. Jahrhundert, rund um das Schloss Castello Malingri. Der nicht asphaltierte Zufahrtsweg ist beim ersten Mal ein bisschen abenteuerlich zu fahren , aber kein echtes Problem. Die Nähe zu interessanten Orten wie Saluzzo oder auch Turin ist angenehm, zugleich ist es nur ein Katzensprung in die hohen Berge des Westalpenbogens. Katja war jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Also alles prima!

We had a great stay. A hike to Monviso, a trip to Turin, mornings on the lovely little terrace and a lot of reading at the pool 👍
