We had an amazing time staying at Katy and Dave’s. Katy was undergoing surgery when we stayed and despite having much more important things to deal with at the time, they were still available to us whenever we needed them. They were so hospitable and the property is absolutely gorgeous!! Their lovely dog rukus too!! Would definitely stay at this air bnb again and recommend it to anyone. Thank you Dave and Katy!!!

Great spot for a group of 8 ! Host's home on site, but we had complete privacy. Hosts were super nice & very responsive. There's a big patch of grass near the house we used for bocce ball and spike ball. The pride, craftsmanship & character of this place is incredible. They told us of a swimming dock on lake 5 min drive away, which was great especially for a sunset dip! Katherine Lake 10 min drive has a nice sand beach. Beds were super comfortable, each couple had a quiet spot to retreat to if they wanted. Dome windows were super cool, sleeping & waking amongst arbutus & fir trees. The sauna & "cold plunge" were fun. Open air kitchen area & lounge were perfect for 8 guests, stunning views & room to eat together or play charades, etc. We used the radio. Coffeemaker was basic, & a small french press. Dishes, pot & pans, panini grill, BBQ, washroom facility great. No BBQ utensils. Improvement would be have a toilet or outhouse apart from from the showers. I will recommend to friends!

Unique little spot in a stunning location. It was fun sleeping in the barrels and cooking and showering in the fores while watching the glorious sun sets. Dave and Katy were great hosts. This is a wonderful spot to disconnect from busy life.

We rented all four of the "barrel" structures and words can't describe how fantastic this place is. Peaceful, amazing scenery, the beds that look out of the mountains and water, the sunset, the surroundings...wow.....it was the most amazing place. Dave was awesome at getting us information and showing us around his property. The kitchen, which I thought would a minimal camp kitchen, was aboslutely great with a bar, a gas firepit, big comfy couches and large dining table out on a deck look at the incredible view. We loved the dogs and everything about this place.
