Smells like cigarettes, smells like mold , when spoke to front desk , gave me a can of air freshener, still did not help , save your money and go to a brand name spot , shady location

The first thing is there was no communication from Ajay. I asked to be contacted by email or phone and that never happened, no contact at all, very unprofessional. I don’t live in New York, so I had several concerns/questions. When I called to ask questions I was told I did not have a reservation, they had mixed up my name with my email address, even when I arrived I was told the same thing. When I finally got to the room, I was very disappointed. It was very dark and gloomy, like no room I had stayed in before. I ended not staying the entire night, because there was no ambience. I was treating my boyfriend to a weekend away, and he too was disappointed. There were only 2 hangers in the closet, and very thin towels in the bathroom, and 1 microwave to share for the building. No one at checkin had a smile or had any professionalism. I am so disappointed that I chose this place instead of a chain hotel. I wanted to try something different, and may not do that again!

This place is clean, easy to find. Bed was comfortable. Dollar Tree and Starbucks are a very short walk away. I stayed here because I was stranded at JFK overnight. The neighborhood is a little older, and for that reason the neighborhood felt a little unsafe at night. But I felt very safe in the property and in my room. I’d definitely stay there again under these circumstances. FYI, taxi from JFK to property cost $60 (at Friday at 5 pm). Lyft from property to JFK cost $50 (Saturday 7am).
