This place has good and bad things - the bad first, This place is cute but is not true to the way it is marketed. This is a condo within a huge condominium/timeshare complex. There is no backyard as said in the listing. I inquired about family friendly things to do but did not get recommendations just a link to the city website and a pamphlet in our check in bag. I also inquired about the parking situation and told them we would have a snowmobile trailer with us - they did do a good job describing the parking situation and telling me the truck with trailer could be parked at the golf course but it was not mentioned that trailers are not allowed on their property at all per the signs posted, when we pulled in that was unexpected and made loading/unloading our vehicle difficult. Nowhere in booking did it say we would be responsible for a good chunk of the house keeping including stripping the beds and towels, taking the trash to dumpsters and starting the dishwasher (which soap was NOT provided for) or be charged a $50 fee when we already paid a cleaning fee when booking. The place was not very clean, holes in the carpet near the fire place, literally dirt in the showers, lots of scuffs on the laminate flooring. All of the kitchen and furniture is very out dated except the TVs. Our 2 night stay ended up being a little less than $750 a night after cleaning/service fees. Had I known all this prior to booking we wouldn’t have paid that much and booked elsewhere. I’d say it’s worth more like $450 a night. Now for the good - booking was easy, the location is perfect. Close to town but not too close. Check in/check out is easy and smooth, even after hours with the pin/lock box. The place is cozy with the fire place. They provide Hulu and Disney+ on the TV which was great! The garage is nice for little cars to keep them out of the cold snowy weather. The plug ins in the garage made it easy to run an extension cord to our truck in the negative temps. The place is pretty sound proof, we couldn’t hear our neighbors at all. The patio is cute and backs up to a little forest area and there is a BBQ out there. There are multiple thermostats throughout the condo so each person can have their room the temp they want which I really like. Overall I’d say 3 out of 5 but not worth the price tag.
