Marlena’s place was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend! It was super peaceful and was very comfortable for the three of us! The only downsides were that an “indoor fireplace” were listed as an amenity, but there’s no actual fireplace connected and able to be used. Also, it looks like there’s renovations being done and a tarp covering the wall caused a lot of noise flapping in the wind, was difficult to sleep. The downstairs bathroom doesn’t have a shower, but that didn’t affect us! Otherwise, the location is absolutely beautiful and the place very clean and cozy!

My daughter had a ski race at Sunapee and I thought Marlenas place would be perfect. When first walking it it did feel that way as it is over the water and it has a beautiful view. But that is where it ended. My daughter went to take a shower and the tub was full of water. I tried plunging it but it was obviously a bigger problem than I could manage. The bathroom downstairs despite having a tub does not have facets so it is unaccessible. I called Marlena and she was very abrupt. When I told her the issue she said she would call the Plummer. The Plummer showed up the next day and the pipes were frozen solid and he was unable to fix the problem. We left a day early and had to scramble to find another place for the night. In addition the wifi was not working which apparently had been put on pause so I was unable to complete any work. Also they have a tarp over the porch window with boards holding it down and all night it banged keeping me up so I had a horrible night.

This is a very terrible experience in my life! The landlord replied in time but did not deal with the problem seriously at all. It was very irresponsible! The best places in this house are in the photos. We feel cheated. We chose here for a good environment. The price here is higher than the average price of the surrounding houses! The house has not even been renovated. The purpose of the four of us was to go skiing, but when we came back one day, we found that only the bathroom upstairs could be used. The bathroom downstairs doesn‘t even have a faucet! There is no signal around this damn place, the mobile phone can’t be used, and the wifi in the house has no signal! We booked to contact the landlord on the first day of two days and sent a sentence for more than half an hour! The bad experience didn‘t even let us stay for the scheduled time. We left directly after skiing the next day!
