LeeAnne is a lovely lady with a beautiful house in the middle of Winner. You can walk to the local library, the gym, bars, and a cute local movie theater. The sunsets in the backyard are magnificent and something to take a few moments and admire. The kitchen with the gas stove is great and the beautiful bathroom with jacuzzi tub is a treat. LeeAnne has really made a lovely home and treats everyone with that special Alaskan hospitality. You’ll love you stay and this wonderful house. Thanks LeeAnne!!!!
自我介绍
Good Afternoon Everyone! My name is Lee Anne Reiss. I live in Fairbanks, Alaska. I’ve been here since 1989. Previous to that, I resided in Anchorage, Alaska since 1969. My parents brought us to Alaska in 68 when my dad obtained a helicopter job working for Alaska Helicopters on the “North Slope”. This area is where Prudhoe Bay is and various Native Villages. Prudhoe Bay is strictly an oilfield. Although people make good money working on the “North Slope” it continues, to this day, to be detrimental on marriages because of the separation of working out of town. Thank God this did not affect my parents’ marriage. The good part is that it reduces the cost of auto insurance. HaHa!! Years and years ago, I went “outside” and attended one year of college at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. I was 17 and a half years old at the time. When I came back to Anchorage, I went to work at Tonsina Camp while the Alaskan Pipeline was being built. A decade later, I returned to college at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in special education. I obtained my Masters of Science in Special Education after my children were grown. From 1989 until 2003, I taught my children at home. They were raised “rural like” in that we had quite a few animals, no technology (not even TV), no running water and we used an outhouse. I also ran a Bed and Breakfast in Fairbanks for 8 summers. I purchased rental property and fixed them up. I have four children; three girls and a boy. The first daughter is 41 and has 7 children, the second daughter is 34 and has 5 children, the boy is almost 30 and has 5 children and the youngest is 28. When the last two children were teenagers, they wanted to try out for the swim team at the high school in Fairbanks. They were not allowed to at that time unless they were enrolled for over 50% of the school day. Hence, my last two children went to a public high school and I went back into teaching. I am currently retired and travel often.
