Superb 15th century house where we were very well received by Andrea who gave us good advice and great recommendations and with great responsiveness of Team Lisa. The house is huge, the children played incredible games of hide and seek. The 3 rooms downstairs are worthy of a museum. There are many bedrooms but it's a shame because there is only one bedroom with a double bed. There are also plenty of bathrooms and lots of toilets but they don't work very well. There are two swimming pools, one is private but unfortunately impracticable because it is in the middle of a field of nettles and the other (shared one) is very pretty, very shaded but therefore much too cold, even in the middle of August. And a little important info that absolutely must be added in the description: the water in the house is not drinkable!!! We were kindly left with a few small bottles but with 17 people we couldn't hold on the first night.

Très belle maison, hors du temps, confort assez basique notamment concernant les salles de bains et la literie, mais conforme à la description et surtout en accord avec le prix! Très bon rapport qualité prix, nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux, le lieu est splendide!

An amazing historical building in the Tuscan mountains. Previously a fortified hotel from the 1500, the building is full of charm with its endless rooms and corridors. The little village of a dozen houses is nestled on a small winding mountain road deep in the forest. The house could use updating so if you are looking for a modern luxurious house this is not for you but otherwise a fun place to spend your vacation.
