We spent an unforgettable week at the villa. The property is really big and most times you won’t even notice that there are 12 people there. The villa itself is also really spacious. The kitchens are rather small so you won’t be able to cook for 12 people in one kitchen but that’s why there is two. The pool is really refreshing (the air was still around 30 °C when we visited early september) and tennis can be played even at night. The only downside was the lack of toilet paper and soap on arrival. Also salt, pepper and olive oil was sparse. But not a big deal since we had to go shopping anyways. It takes roughly 25min to get to the next supermarket and the streets surrounding the villa are tiny. The host Giulia was really nice and helpful and always available to answer any questions we had. Only thing that was a bit weird was her dad showing up on a random morning with only 30min notice to clean the pool and empty the trash. Other than that the communication was really good.

Vi var 2 familier i alt 11 personer, og vi havde et fantastisk ophold på Sandro og Giulias sted. Det var et skønt hus, som levede helt op til beskrivelsen, og både pool og tennisbane blev brugt flittigt. Ligesom den hyggelige overdækkede terrasse foran huset, som var samlingssted for spisning, spil og hygge, mens udsigten kunne nydes til solen gik ned. Byen Loro Ciuffenno var lille, men meget smuk og autentisk, vi mødte nærmest ingen turister. Vi spiste fantastisk is på torvet og var også ude og spise vidunderlig mad på to af byens restauranter. Eneste ulempe ved huset er den ret lange opkørsel af bjerget. Det var godt at vi blev anbefalet at handle inden vi kom, så vi ikke skulle afsted for mange gange i løbet af dagen. Det tager ca 1 time at gå ned fra huset til byen, og nok lidt længere at gå opad igen, da det flere steder er ret stejlt. Men en smuk tur gennem skov, vinmarker og oliventræer. Vi nød vores ophold meget, og kan anbefale dette hus.

We had a wonderful vacation at Sandro‘s Villa. Everything was fine and we can absolutely recommend the accommodation. We were 7 adults, 5 children and one dog and had lots of space. The view and the pool are amazing. The only thing you should know: the last 10 minutes of driving is a bit special, but we had different kind of cars and nobody had a problem.
