Mendocino Magic is rustic and funky and I loved it. I was originally booked for Sawmill Cabin and got moved to the Stage House which was much larger. I was just me so it was big, but fine, it would a GREAT place for a blended family or group of friends. Probably could use a deep seasonal clean, but I also think I was put there at the last minute. No complaints regardless! Comfy bed, hot shower, very well-stocked kitchen and bathroom(s). Over all, great stay, very cool spot, close to Laytonville.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Sawmill Cottage. Everyone we interacted with from Mendocino Magic was excellent. The space was awesome and had lots to entertain us during out rainy weekend stay (e.g. board games, puzzles, coloring books, books). The Cottage was well equipped with everything we needed to cook our own meals and other essentials such as flashlights, bug spray, and ponchos. The surrounding area was beautiful and we spent most of our time exploring the grounds with our dogs. The space itself was adorable. We loved the faux fire heater and the heated blankets on the bed to keep us cozy. The comfort of the bed left us a little ill rested - I'd recommend brining your own pillows for maximum comfort. Overall, I'd definitely stay again!

Great cabin! Spacious, great hot water /shower. Felt cozy & safe. Thank you Mackenzie for your flexibility in extending my stay, and for the cooler. Super cute camping/ land! Hope to visit again in the warmer months.

This place is a slice of heaven- so peaceful and beautiful! There was even an outdoor bath tub- so great! There’s a wooden platform near the cabin that we did yoga on- most beautiful yoga spot ever. Mackenzie was friendly and helpful. We would love to stay there again and again.
