The host is very unprofessional on the phone. Just answers "hallo". I'm not used to this. Usually at a guest house someone would answer with the name of the place or at least their name. Not very helpful either. When we asked to send the location they just replied it's close to Tarlton Raceway and that we can't miss it. We are not from that area so we had to drive to a place with signal so we could search on the internet where to find the place. We arrived 17:30 and had to wait for another 40minutes because the room wasn't made up yet. We specifically asked when we booked on Airbnb that we want a room with a bath as my wife was for an operation and couldn't shower. The host never read the instructions and wasn't very helpful to assist. We had to drive around Randfontein until 20:30 to try and find another guesthouse. This was a very bad experience with terrible management and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone who is serious about a good guesthouse experience

We struggled to get hold of the host. Although Airbnb says they reply within an hour, after 2 messages went unanswered for weeks, it was only when we contacted Airbnb support that we got a reply. Considering we were trying to book more rooms / pay more money, it was weird that we didn't get a reply. Security was a concern as the property's gate didn't have a working motor (we had to slide it open manually) and it was 'secured' with a brick. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
