I’ve never left a bad review for a property or a guest on Airbnb but I must be honest about our stay here. The very minimum we expect from an Airbnb property is that it is clean and safe - and if we have an issue with the property that the host will help us. Unfortunately we didn’t find that with this listing. Location is absolutely incredible, 10/10. But there are 4 other categories that make up a good stay and we have sadly made a complaint directly to Airbnb as we didn’t feel they were at a minimum standard we have come to expect from Airbnb around the world. There was a minor medical emergency as my daughter broke her toe (she moved the coffee table and dropped it on her foot!) and there was a lack of first aid kit. Anything that was there was severely out of date. There were also nails sticking out by the childs bunks. On top of that, the place was not cleaned to the standards expected, dusty, and tired to say the least.

Great location and super chilled. Located within the national park. If you are looking for a bush cabin that’s super warm (amazing fire), for your family (we are a family of 5) this is in a great spot near amazing national park walks. We stayed on Easter long weekend which was quite rainy, and appreciated the fire!

Great place to say if you want to make the most of the hikes in Freycinet park. Also close to a little beach which was really peaceful in the morning and mostly deserted. The property is a good balance of rustic cabin and home comforts, we found the kitchen easy to use and big the balcony area perfect to relax. The cabin can naturally turn into a sauna on a hot day because there is no AC but manageable and fine in the evening when you let in the cool night air.
