I really enjoyed my stay here, easy commute, good amenities, and felt safe. My biggest complaint is about the communication. VERY difficult to book. She had a few other listings posted that were cheaper and bigger, but she denied me for invalid reasons. One of them being that she wanted a tenet starting at the beginning of the month rather than the middle. The 2nd was due to dates listed as available, but when I went to book she said the dates were not. Leaving me with this location as my only option. When I asked if she could offer this location at the same rate. she DID NOT respond at all! I was very disappointed about this especially since the reason for denial was not reasonable. I felt scammed into paying more. I also extend my stay and, when I asked for a discount she AGAIN DID NOT respond! I hate that this happened because else wise I had a great experience. She would only respond at her own convince. I am not sure if I would recommend renting from her due to this.

I stayed at the location for around two months and a half. I would like to reiterate some of the other points people have made in other reviews. - I chose to rent because of how close it was located to work but besides that, it was a rip-off. I am originally from NYC and have family in Queens. The payments ended up being $3900 a month with a $160+ for electricity a month. My full-time coworkers clowned me for paying so much for such a small studio (my guess is 300-400 square feet) in a non luxury building. The description does not mention paying additional for electricity but once you book, it states so in the policies. - The apartment had mice and the exterminators were requested a few times. The mice issue kept persisting and the free exterminator service was not that helpful unfortunately. My roommate and I were awoken by mice scrampering through random bags of just trash with no food at 2-5AM consistently. - The apartment was not that clean to begin with but I wiped down surfaces and did a deep clean once I moved in with my roommate. There was dust everywhere, stained bathtub, mold in the window AC unit, and more. - I am a really responsible person and I paid rent every single time (on the day it was due). There was an issue where I had scheduled payment with my apple card and on the day of payment around 8AM, it marked the transaction as suspicious. It asked me to verify that I approved and then instructed me to retry payment where this time, it would go through. I did so and it went through the day it was scheduled so I addressed the issue within a couple hours (by noon of the payment due date). Everything on my end on airbnb account, my apple card, and my bank showed that they payment went though and I had receipts to prove it. Yet, the property manager and the airbnb host asked me several times to address the issue. I responded and told both what happened and that it went through and yet, they acted as if it did not and it was my responsibility to repay or speak to airbnb support. I did so and they immediately apologized and stated that I had done everything right and the payment went through before noon the day it was due. They should have simply gone to airbnb and addressed the issue on their end. I work over 75 hours a week and it was stressful for me to find time to sort it out. - Laundry was expensive and in the basement. There are only like 3 machines for washing and drying each for the whole building. The hallways and elevators are not air conditioned and are surprisingly stuffy during the summer. - Amazing location for being close to bars and restaurants. Also as promised, close to Times Square and Columbus Circle. - Overall decent living quarters but was more appropriate for a lower price tag given that it wasn't amazing.

Great location in a cool building! Cool rooftop with amazing views! Don’t leave trash under the sink for more than a few days, or you’ll be forced to deal with mice that keep coming back and an un-accommodating repair/service team that won’t come at all. Was told to contact the free exterminator service on my own. You’d think for the amount we were paying that the management company would be more accommodating in helping fix their own infestation problem. Aside from this unsavory reality, which didn’t become an issue until the final week, we had a nice stay here.
