This charming and historic air conditioned town house with enclosed private garden is attractively furnished and decorated throughout and situated in the very centre of Graaff Reinet. The house has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, separate lounge and dining rooms, private patio with braii and garden. The dining room and main bedroom open out into a paved garden area ideal for outside entertaining with a braii and beyond that a charming enclosed garden.

We had a wonderful stay, but much too short. If i had known how great this place was i would of booked for longer. Yvonne was a great host , giving us all the information that was required .

The Communication with Yvonne was very easy and friendly. The House is closed to Restaurants and to prepare your own food the kitchen is well prepared. The beautiful garden is safe and really quiet.

This delightful and historical "jewel of the Karoo" town is surrounded by the Camdeboo National Park with its abundant birdlife and game and the dramatic Valley of Desolation. The town itself houses many examples of Cape Dutch architecture and several historic museums, art galleries and landmark buildings including the spectacular Dutch Reformed Church (1886). There are many delightful restaurants, eateries and coffee shops within easy walking distance of the house which is also located opposite the main entrance to the famous Drostdy Hotel.

My name is Yvonne. I live in Graaff-Reinet and am bilingual in English and Afrikaans. I was born and raised on a farm in the beautiful Sneuuberg mountain range, north of here. I then spent 22 years in PE (Gqeberha) working for a large corporation before returning to farm life and then back to Graaff-Reinet. I have 3 grown up children and in my spare time enjoy painting, gardening, reading, walking and being involved with our local bowling club.
