We had such a wonderful time at Richardson place. It was so peaceful, spotlessly clean and had all the ammenities you could wish for. I would 100% recommend it and would stay here again in a heartbeat,

We had the absolute pleasure of staying a few days at Richard's place in Shepard Flat for my Mum's 83rd birthday. What a beautiful restful place. The decor was lovely, the place had absolutely everything that you could need in it, your home away from home. Richard was so helpful with recommendations of restaurants and antiquing places; he really does go above and beyond for his guests. Do yourself a favor, if you are ever in the Daylesford/Hepburn area looking for somewhere to stay - and check out his listing. You won't be sorry! Thanks again Richard, we will be back as soon as we can!

A great place to get away from it all. A cosy, secluded home surrounded by wildlife and nature but with Hepburn Springs/Daylesford a quick drive away. Also a great base to explore nearby towns like Crewsick, Clunes etc.

Had an awesome weekend away at Sheperds Flat, Richard was a punctual and accomodating host. The house is in a secluded and picturesque location away from town but close enough that it still feels like a stones throw away. Definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area!

This property is in a beautiful setting, in a quiet and relaxing location. Lovely not to hear any traffic, street noise or people. Plenty of wildlife for entertainment; birds, 'roos, a fox, an echidna living under the deck. The mature garden is delightful. With a short drive of Hepburn and Daylesford, it's also a place where one can pull up the drawbridge and not wander far, sitting out day and night to enjoy the ambience. The prperty is very well presented, with artwork and plants giving it a homely (but not cluttered or overly personal) feel. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, the beds comfortable and everything worked. While not on site, Richard gave us all the information we needed and was a responsive host. I'd very happily visit again.
