Great little place in the woods next to Lassen NP with a fireplace, comfy beds, and all the kitchen basics. We stayed in the winter and things were quiet, which was perfect. The property managers were helpful when we needed anything. Will be back for sure!

Perfect cottage for a Lassen exploration. The resort is beautiful and the cabin cozy and well appointed. The beds were comfortable after our hikes.

We stayed 4-days in Cabin 10 with our three children. This rustic cabin was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our family of five. Even though this cabin was on the road it was very quiet, there was almost zero traffic! It was a nice change of pace from Los Angeles. We forgot to pack cooking oil but a kind person in the nextdoor cabin gave us some butter so it all worked out. Bring your own paper towels and charcoal for the grill, it’s not provided. We loved cooking our dinners on the grill and the kitchen was great (although no dishwasher). Our kids loved roasting marshmallows each night at the campfire, looking at all the stars (which we don’t see in LA!) and enjoyed seeing the black-tailed deer & chipmunks running around the cabin! The cabin is very close to Lassen Volcanic National Park and we saw a bear one morning on our drive from the cabin to the park! It was really exciting! The owners, Joseph & Jillian, are always working about the resort and are very welcoming and friendly. All in all we had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin and would stay here again!

What a wonderful cabin! We loved our three night stay here at the Mill Creek Resort. The cabin itself was perfect for our family of three. The beds are comfy (which is very important to us), there was ample space in the kitchen to happily cook our meals, and we simply enjoyed hanging out after a long day of exploring Lassen. The couple that run the resort are wonderful hosts. If you forget something, check out their sweet little store next door. Highly recommended!
