Maria & Bernie were great. There were a couple hiccups but nothing major that would affect my overall experience. Upon checking in, I had to wait 30 -ish min since they let the previous person stay later and I was right on time checking in. I have a cat and she was itching to get out of the car, but we could handle it since it wasn't hot out. The place was perfec I felt safe and very private space. I also had the apt that had a private patio so I could let my cat wander in and out at her leisure and not worry about her getting out. That was a blessing. The bed is oooooh so comfy and her pillows are the best. There was everything I needed in the kitchen. The internet and TV worked great the whole time. They do throw family gatherings/parties and usually you can close the patio doors and it's all good. There was one party that the band was really loud but Maria apologized for the disruption and not seeing my message right away, but hey none of us are perfect. Overall a great experience

I stayed at Maria’s place for almost 6 months and I can tell that is good for both short and long periods, they’re super supportive and help with anything you might need

By far the best place I've stayed in Bakersfield. Private, comfortable, clean and inexpensive. I can see why Maria's place is usually booked! Alot of detail and amenities were included to where I didn't need to go out and pick up anything. I recommend to anyone.
