When we arrived, all my son kept saying was “this is my dream home”. The house was absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. Honestly, it was even better than the pictures. Sitting on the deck in the hanging chair and looking at the lake was, dare I say…hauntingly beautiful lol. The road has an entire history (or maybe urban legend is a better description) that I was not aware of before I booked our vacation, but was eerily fascinating after I found out. The house literally has everything that you could ask for. The kitchen is fully stocked and so are the bathrooms, so they really thought of everything. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The host was super responsive when two questions came up and was so friendly. Check in and check out were very easy and very clear. If you’re considering a stay, I would definitely recommend it!

This was an amazing place to stay, i’ve already mentioned it to a few friends. If anything i would say this place is better than advertised. The touches of the Prosecco and beer in the fridge being a lovely extra.

Amazing, peaceful, private property. A perfect getaway sanctuary. Everything is exactly as described and even better than the photos. I could live here happily. Will definitely be back.

We cannot recommend this place highly enough! It was exactly like the photos - beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous, comfortable home. It was very clean and well stocked. The fireplace is an experience in itself (as is the toilet - true luxury). Coming from NYC it was also refreshingly easy to get to and we also encountered almost no traffic on the drive back. We have already started talking about when we might be able to come back.
