Perfect alternative to a motel stay in Osage so long as you are ok with stairs. Looks and feels like a big city loft apartment.

The Teluwut Loft is a quaint, large, well maintained and decorated loft. When we stay, we feel quite at home as it’s very cozy. Becky stocks the loft with about everything you could want including coffee service and snacks. The loft is quite spacious and has a sliding barn door that separates the living area from the bedroom for privacy and quiet. There are shops and restaurants within an easily walkable distance. The loft is above a restaurant and you do occasionally hear people frequenting the restaurant, but the noise level is very minimal and has never gone on late enough to interrupt sleep. One word of note: the loft is accessed by two steep sets of steps; one in front off Main Street which is enclosed indoors and one in the back from the parking lot that is outside and exposed to weather. These steps would not be advisable for elderly or persons with disabilities.

Becky’s place was fantastic. The location was perfect, right in the middle of town and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and just a few blocks from the hospital. The loft was cozy but still roomy for me alone, but had plenty of space for a family or small group of friends. The step-over shower was nice with custom stones for the floor, hot water, and good pressure. While I would have liked a few more kitchen utensils and bakeware for my 5 week work stay, the kitchen was stocked with coffee and had plenty of room to cook meals. Being right over their delicious restaurant was a bit too convenient! Overall I had a great stay and I certainly recommend Becky’s place.
