Jodi and Walter were so sweet and friendly. The moment we walked in, Jodi welcomed us right in and gave us a tour. She took her time with us and had this calming presence to her. They made you feel super comfortable and the B&B was more than what I was expecting. The grounds were gorgeous with a huge yard. We were fortunate to land the Golden Oak room which was quiet and away from all the other rooms. Additionally this room had views of gorgeous backyard with deer and turkeys in the early morning. Everything was clean and cozy. Breakfast was plenty. Thank you J&W! I will be returning :)

This is like paradise. The place and experience were so beautiful that we want to return. Jodi and Walter are friendly, relaxed, full of knowledge about the area, and serve amazing breakfasts. It was so fun to wake up to the sight of the deer or wild turkeys roaming the grounds. And let’s not forget the hammock. It was the perfect place to catch up on some reading. We loved every minute of this stay.

Jodi and Walter were great hosts and have a beautiful B&B. Great location for exploring the outdoors and relaxing on the property with nice views. Walter knows the area very well and gave us many recommendations on hikes and things to do. We hope to return one day!

Very comfortable and peaceful setting! Jodi and Walter are very kind and welcoming and just make you feel completely at home. They are available to talk or will give you privacy, whatever your preference. Their home feels very warm and cozy. The grounds are lush with beautiful flowers and several varieties of birds. You have several options to find your happy place...the downstairs comfy living room, upstairs table, patio table and chairs or just walking around the tree shaded property! Great location...not too far from Durango and perfect for heading out on the Million Dollar Highway! Make sure you go see Baker's Bridge where they filmed part of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Also be sure and go check out Silverton, Ouray and The Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park! Highly recommend Country Sunshine Bed & Breakfast and can't wait to return!

This place was amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. Loved everything about this place. It was cozy, clean, the entire property was green and beautiful. Will definitely stay there again next time we go to Durango, Co.
