It’s an animal farm paradise with a complex of houses, barns and storage houses that all came together. The adjacent barn turned out to be a museum of some sorts for all types of carriages and farm implements it could be a country museum. It was impressive. There were goats, chicken, cows, horses and lots of different kinds of birds. We even saw a fox in our nighttime walk. It’s amazing place to destress and feel how it is to live in an isolated farm. Jana the host is an excellent host and knew so much about the town and farm life. The house is perfect for our group of 8 and everyone has something to do witjin the complex.

if you want to get off the crazy train this is the place. Rolling hills, mist coming up out of the valleys. beautiful sunrises and sunsets. and the stars on a clear night. It doesn't get any better than Jana's Place

The house was AMAZING. So many rooms with knick-knacks all over. There was an abundant amount of beds and adjustable heating, so we slept wonderfully. It was full with decorations that made you feel as if you stepped back in time (but with an abundance of amenities that made you feel grounded to the present). My favorite room was the one next to the living room — it was so homey and beautiful!! All our kids were able to fit in one room (five twin beds) and they had so much fun chatting through the night! Jana, who owns the house, was amazingly kind and helpful. 10/10 recommend this house. We’ve stayed in an abundance of houses all over the northeast and this was by far my favorite.
