Our party of four stayed in this cabin style accomodation with magnificent views to Loch Hourn. The kitchen was neat and had quality and adequate utensils/ crockery a small hob (no oven) and a small fridge with inbuilt freezer. The shower was hot with reasonable pressure (byo shower gel). We had an issue with the heating not being on - which the owner was responsive to (the heat was controlled remotely by wifi). There was fluctuating wifi signal but there’s enough phone reception. At times we were challenged by the smaller bedroom spaces and there was only enough seating for two people in the lounge. Rustic cabin noise with squeaky timber flooring is also a feature, and a reduced privacy aspect present with noise transference between rooms also a reality of this intimate cabin experience. It didn’t feel quite big enough for the 4 of us, but I appreciate everyone is different. The views are amazing though and the owner who lives on the same block was very welcoming.

Away with family and stayed 3 nights. Perfect hideout for a peaceful night sleep, has everything you need and felt right at home. Raymond came to introduce himself and made sure he was available if we needed anything. Location was perfect for if you wanted to do some touristy things in the area, travel time is around an hour to most places. Weather was a bit hit and miss, but that’s to be expected at this time of year. Would definitely recommend and will be back if we are ever back in the area.

Raymond's place was warm and cosy, with a well equipped kitchen, a great shower, and comfortable beds. On this occasion, this accommodation was shared by 4 adults and 3 dogs and I didn't think we were overly crowded ( having read some of the less positive reviews I'm of the opinion that those were somewhat unfair) On the first day , we all walked to the nearby beach and then walked back. The trek was not as hard as we thought, and looking back, the views were worth it. We have not met our host, but the communication was good, and we appreciated privacy. It's been a good base for the sights we wanted to see and comfy place to relax in on a return.
