Our 3 week stay at Michaels very spacious Villa Les Aygals was everything we could have hoped for and more! If anything the pictures on Trip Advisor don’t do it justice; we and our family and friends all loved it - including the pool which we were able to use right up to the end of October. Eli, the housemanager, is a real treasure too; ensuring that we had everything we needed - we did - and clear that she would be available if needed. I had chosen the property for our holiday due to its size and location near, but not too near, major roads. In reality the area itself could hardly have been better including lovely seasides; Collioure unmissable ;world standard art galleries near by (including at Ceret just down the road plus the Dali in Figueres); stunning mountain views and mountain communities, Carcassonne. We came nowhere near running out of places to visit. And we loved Maureillas-Las-Illas itself - still a real French village it includes a truly excellent French restaurant 66 survin (booking ahead we had 3 lovely meals there), great boulangerie, well stocked small supermarket and Joelle’s Atelier (actually a friendly tiny pavement bar - morning coffee there on the way back from collecting the breakfast croissants became our regular routine!). Hoping to get back one day…

Nice an clean Villa in a calm village. Everything you need is found relatively close nearby. Near the spanish border, so day trips to Spain are easy.

Excellent séjour chez Michael , nous avons adoré la maison qui était juste parfaite !! La localisation est top entre la mer et la montagne et a su contenter tout le groupe ! Bref nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances !
