We stayed on a very windy weekend. Was difficult to sleep all night given the howling gale but that would have been the case wherever we stayed. The property itself is very thoughtfully kitted out and has all mod cons, with beautiful bath and fantastic walk-in showers. Our kids loved it, not least the Netflix and the farm menagerie. We missed feeding time but the ponies, pig, turkey, chickens etc are a wonderful plus. Annene herself is ever so responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

We had an OK stay at this place. Good things first - the unit is functional and clean and easily good enough to stay the night. However, while technically the description is correct, we expected something different. Overall this is not a farm but rather a commercial plot with some old (very aged) farm equipment lying around. The unit itself again ticks all the boxes when it comes to the description, but it is just not executed as we expected it. Bay window is somewhat selfmade and the deck is really small looking into your small fenced yard. There are no views and definitely no farm feel to it. As described - there are some animals on property, but that is mainly limited to some chickens (and rooster, beware they compete in the mornings from early on). Cages are also somewhat dated. Overall the stay is as described - but on the very minimum range. Don't expect to feel like you are on a form nor the winelands.

Annene‘s farm was an absolute delight. What a great place to have a time out from the hectic city life. Great accommodation, super friendly host, well equipped kitchen, super cool braai area and the farm itself is amazing. Every night the kids could feed the animals, swim in the small lake and enjoy the playground. Couldn’t ask for more!
