We have become regulars at Rolands place and have no intentions of changing that. The house is beautiful, well equipped and peaceful. The host is super responsive and always willing to help. The house is a few steps away from the bridge over the lagoon where you can see the best sunsets in the island. Overall great.

Great place to stay nice location at the end of town across from Tank’d dive shop. House was comfortable and well stocked for our family’s stay. Roland was great to work with and very responsive when we had some travel hiccups in Texas that cause us to miss the ferry.

Roland’s place is honestly the best on the island, you have a fantastic private water front yard with two large porches and a spacious cozy home. Roland is very proactive if a problem arises and gets them fixed VERY quickly- not on island time! We can’t wait to be back and to stay at Roland’s place yet again!

Beautiful property, nice bedrooms, large kitchen. Having a washer was a lovely feature. A great place to stay on Útila especially for a larger family/multiple people. Roland was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

The home is on beautiful grounds, lots of flowering bushes and plants, very well maintained. It has 2 porches, 1 of which is well set up for entertaining. (We know people on the island, and like to have parties). When water started dripping heavily from 1 A/C, Roland was very quick to get it resolved. When we had problems with internet and TV (mostly just due to the fact that we couldn't find documentation for how it all worked), Roland had Utila Digital (the dish network there), come to educate us. It's close to Bando Beach, a fun, laid back bar/restaurant on a beach with an easy entry to the ocean. It's close to quite a few restaurants, and Camilla's bakery, as well as the best produce store on the island. We usually stay in Blue Bayou (a neighborhood on the other side of the island), but we are happy to have stayed on this side. We met new people, and tried a few restaurants we never bothered with before. Our 5th trip to the island, and we enjoyed this home very much.
