We loved our stay at The Yellow house. Beautiful property and surroundings. Friendly and very responsive host. Easy to check with with Johan (father of the host) being there and being very helpful with the check in process. Loved the plums and local variety of fruit in the area. Easy to get local attractions. Great hiking spots super close (right next to Queens hike). The view was amazing!! Would love to stay again at this property if I ever make it to this area.

Het huis is echt magnifiek. De Noorse pruimen (in de hof) zijn de lekkerste van de wereld. Het poppenhuisje was een grote verassing voor kleine Anna. De trails zijn subliem . Als je wil elke dag eekhoorntjesbrood en cantharellen. En die fjord sauna : geen woorden genoeg. Maar als we ooit terugkomen dan vooral voor je ouders Johan en Wench.

We had a peaceful, rejuvenating stay at the Yellow House. The natural surroundings are a marvel and the hospitality of Cecilie’s family members, who look after the house, was a highlight. The house is a beautiful place to stay.

The yellow house is stunning inside and outside. View is breathtaking but spending some time just cooking inside is also great. There is a very « homy » feeling about it. Our girls enjoyed swimming in the fjord as well. Cecilie and her family were very welcoming (delicious plums) and helpful.

It was a magical place with a family history to it!! It felt like home away from home! The communication with Celilie was great, her response was very quick and always friendly! On side Wenche and her husband Harald were there to give us a warm welcome! We would love to go back and recommend this place to everyone
