Beautiful home with a great view by the water. Caretaker was friendly and responsive. Everything was clean and well cared for. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would change is the check out responsibilities. The cleaning fee was higher than other places I’ve stayed. For that fee, I wouldn’t expect to have to strip the beds.

Beautiful home and views of Lake Michigan! Close to great hiking options in the area. Many great breweries to explore as well.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic, and I can't say enough good things about it. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attention to detail and the thoughtful touches. The first thing that struck us was the exceptional cleanliness of the home. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and also incredibly well-equipped, including an outdoor grill and wood splitter for the fire pit, kayaks and life jackets, games, books and our favorite...the telescope for watching ships. The small vases of fresh flowers throughout the house and the s'mores supplies left by the ever-so-gracious house manager, Christine, were delightful surprises that added a warm and personal touch to our stay. Christine was responsive, kind and so very friendly. The real star of the show was the breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. Perched high on a bluff, the location provided a tranquil escape with a rock-filled beach that we explored on foot and by kayak! DELIGHTFUL!

IMPRESSED! This was the most well appointed vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in. We’re so glad we went to the house before getting groceries as there was so much there already. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms had laundry baskets, plenty of space for unpacking, chairs, and little vanities that were perfect for getting ready for the day. As an over-packer I always pack scissors, a lighter, and koozies… but that was all there. Even a crockpot! The view was excellent and there are stairs to a little sandy/rocky beach. We found so many Petosky stones that we threw most of them back for the next treasure hunters. There is also a cute little beach about a mile from the house (you do have to drive). The fire pit and screened in porch were so nice for the evenings. Christine (property mgr) was extremely friendly and checked up on us, and even brought a fresh apple pie. We absolutely loved this house and plan to go back!
