David's unit was clean, warm and well stocked. In fact it felt brand new. It's in a cheery neighbourhood with dedicated parking, and a doable walk down the hill to the main drag. As stocked as it was, the addition of something simple like an area rug in the main room would have made it a bit cosier and less utilitarian. For winter renters, it would have been nice if the heated floor in the bathroom was able to turn on, and a hairdryer would have been great. The only other thing I'd mention was that the listing says he lives upstairs with his child, when in fact it's also a rental unit. This wouldn't have mattered except for the New Years eve partying that was really loud above us. On regular rental weeks I'm sure it'd be just fine. All in all it was convenient, spotless and very easy to access. I'd recommend!

David was a really great host! Very friendly and accommodating. His place is also larger than what we thought it would be based on the photos. A really great place. Will likely stay there again if we are ever back in Fernie!

We had a fantastic stay in Fernie at David’s property. Couldn’t have been happier with the location, the property was perfect for us and David was a terrific host. David was very helpful with local recommendations and helping us with any needs. The apartment was clean, comfortable and cozy. Would gladly book this accommodation again when in Fernie.
