Really nice stay! Beautiful location with lots of areas to hang out! we loved the firepit on the dock, wonderful way to have morning coffee! Great fishing too!

We just returned from Thanksgiving long weekend with our sons and their partners and their dogs, at this wonderful spot. Check in was super easy and we were greeted with an extra propane tank for the BBQ and some kindling by the very friendly host. In the evenings we enjoyed a bonfire with the peaceful surroundings of lake and forest. The place has large windows facing the pristine lake. We had fun with the canoe, kayaks, and paddle board and noted it would be a great swimming spot in the summer. The kitchen is sizable and easy to cook in for 6 people. Lots of room for lounging and comfy beds. There is a nice propane stove in the living room to take the nip out of the air. Close to Perth and Westport - great towns to check out. This place is very relaxing and not fussy, easy to feel at home here. We had everything we needed to make our stay a success and enjoy some quality family time. Priceless, yet affordable!

This was our third stay at Angela's beautiful cottage on Black Lake. Once again, the place was perfect, cozy, well equipped for everything you could need. We had a wonderful time and Angela and her husband are super friendly and easy to communicate with.

This is our second time here. And we love it. The fall colours were beautiful. Weather couldn’t be more perfect. The second day my kids were leaving after their short visit and their car wouldn’t start. Rob was there within 10 min with jumper cables. Amazing. Very attentive to my dogs needs as well. She is 13 years old. Wasn’t feeling well. I think she hurt her leg being all goofy with the chipmunks. He helped with everything we needed. And provided information and advice. The place was spotless. Bathrooms were nice. Great water pressure and hot water. Rain shower head in one bathroom. Good flush toilets. Lol. Beds are comfortable. Bunkie is amazing for extra people to stay. Heated as well. Deck was beautiful to sit out on and the views took your breath away. Very peaceful. It had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Did not want to leave. One week is not enough. Caught a nice bass and a pretty decent perch. Fish dinner on Friday to end the perfect week. Love it here.
