My husband and I stayed for exactly a month and we had an excellent time, namely because Robert was a wonderful host and we found Castle Cary to be absolutely lovely. The location is perfect, set is a beautiful and friendly town, and it is less than 100 yards from the town center and lots of great local businesses/restaurants, a two minute walk to the bus stop, and a little under 20 minute walk to the train station. We were without a car and found it easy to explore all the towns around via bus and train, and a day trip to Stonehenge via train. The house is very spacious and comfortable, and feels historic/rustic, but all the appliances and kitchen/bath are modern. Finally, we recommend taking some country walks, going to the George, and going to the market for fruit and vegetables if you are there on a Tuesday.

Fantástica casa antigua reformada en Castle Cary. Robert es un host muy amable y atento y su casa encantadora, limpia y con una excelente ubicación si deseas visitar la zona cercana a Glastonbury. Nos hemos sentido como en casa y responde perfectamente a la descripción realizada. Dispone de todo lo necesario tanto para pasar una estancia corta o media. La cocina está perfectamente equipada y los baños también. Quizás, el único aspecto a mejorar son los colchones ya que, siendo cómodos, son un pelín blandos para una estancia superior a 4-5 días, especialmente para gente de mayor tamaño y peso. Sería un elemento de mejora que contribuiría a que la nota fuese aún mayor.
