Loved our stay! The perfect place with everything you need and great hosts with excellent communication and friendliness. Not our first time in Whiritoa but our first time at Pete and Judy's and hopefully not our last, the perfect little getaway.

Whiritoa Bay is just beautiful, and if you like a lovely light filled relaxed space, with trees and privacy aplenty, this is the place to stay. The house also has great decks on 3 sides, and some good old picnic tables to sit around, perfect for a BBQ. The house has everything you need, pulled together with a comfortable no fuss NZ bach attitude. We loved our stay here! The beach is quite steep for swimming though and unsafe at high tide. So we picked our moments, or drove up to the safe beach at Whangamata, only 15 minutes away. We biked the Karangahake gorge trail, and hiked up river tracks. A wonderful place to stay.
