Nice spot in a convenient location for Emerson Spa, Foxfire Mountain House, and Phoenicia Diner. There are definitely a few oddities with basic maintenance that need to be addressed but the hosts were responsive and helpful.

This place was wonderful, and just as pictured/described. Our two families used it as a base for a ski weekend at Belleayre (only 20 mins away), but it would be wonderful in the summer as well. Home is well furnished and comfortable, with lovely design touches and a really homey feel. Kitchen was well equipped and functional. Hot tub and sauna were major pluses! Only drawback in the winter was the heat was hard to regulate from room to room, so some of us wound up having to keep windows open at night for instance (not a huge deal). Also, bear in mind there is only one bathroom, so you may have to wait your turn! We were fine with it all, and absolutely loved our stay. We will definitely be back. Overall this home was lovely but there were pros and cons. When we got there (mid-Feb), the doors were unlocked and we couldn't get the back door with the keypad to lock at all. The temperature in the home was 50F with 2 windows that we discovered were open and it took 2 days to get the main floor to 70F meanwhile, as others mentioned, upstairs got too warm. Even with the zoned heating we couldn't get the temperatures even. The hot tub was great but the cover was broke making it difficult to open and close. Cinthya was responsive when we brought up these concerns but there was no fix during our time there. Overall the space was otherwise lovely and quiet. There was no one staying at the surrounding properties and it might feel much less private if they were occupied because they are close together with shared yard space and some amenities. Not sure we would stay there again, but it was still a decent experience.

Cinthya and team went above and beyond when a skunk decided to leave their stinky mark on the house prior to check-in. She placed us in a different property, and we had a lovely weekend. Communication and understanding were top notch, and I would gladly recommend anyone stay (except skunks—but what can you do? It’s the woods! 😂)at one of their properties.

Nice house that was close to restaurants and skiing, but tucked away in a quiet spot. The hot tub was awesome after a day of snowboarding.
