My wife and I had a wonderful and peaceful vacation at Dean and Janet's cottage. It truly felt like a home away from home with the small town vibe, easy driving and great people. Both Dean and Janet were excellent host, accommodating, responsive and welcoming. Next time we're out that way we would love to stay there again.

Janet greeted us with a warm welcome immediately upon arrival. The apartment was a perfect size for my husband and I and our Australian Shepherd. The living area is spacious with lovely kitchen and dining area with kitchen table. The unit had every appliance and bit of equipment that one would need! The king size bed was also very comfortable. The bedroom opens up to a patio area with chairs for relaxing in a section of their beautiful yard which has been sectioned off for privacy. Janet and Dean are very welcoming, both to their guests and to pets. We were especially grateful that they very generously allowed us to use their battery charger for our EV vehicle. We had a lovely walk (half mile) into "Old Town" Santa Ynez. (We highly recommend dinner at "The Victor" and breakfast at "The Bakers Table"). It was a lovely weekend getaway for us and we will return, and tell our friends!

We were very happy with our stay with Dean and Janet! This place was perfect for us for so many reasons! We have some injuries, so this was great to be able to pull up and load right in with no stairs or parking lots. They had many amenities available. A bottle of wine and wine glasses. Water bottles in the fridge. Small Kitchen setup. Nice paper goods. They have the TV set up with all their streaming services for the guests. They also make themselves available for helping people out and with wine tours. The bed they have there is amazing! They have a purple mattress and purple pillows that are really nice! The only tough things for us was the bed/frame are low, so that made it challenging to get out of. We knew going in (from the pictures) that the shower is tight for big/tall people, but it does have a great shower head and does not run out of hot water. Everything was really great, and it was the best airbnb experience we have had. We would definitely stay here again!

What a lovely little place! We loved staying here during the week of our wedding. It was just what we needed for us and our pup. Highly recommend!
