Hi I’m Rebecca I’ve lived in Southwell over twenty years and happy to answer any queries - There are Lots of good restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance, the shops are a short stroll away, through the park, past Southwell Minster and the Palace Ruins. We are nearby if you need any assistance but otherwise invite you to enjoy the local walks and countryside or explore some of Robin Hood’s haunts a short drive away...! Lavender Cottage has been completely renovated, it has a Kingsize SIMBA mattress and interlined blackout curtains and blinds in the bedrooms to ensure a good night’s rest. The second bedroom can be made up as a single or with twin beds The fully equipped kitchen and cosy living room have been decorated for ease of cleaning and everything is spotless. A log burner, basket of wood and alfresco courtyard for dining are there too, should you wish to use them. Historic Southwell is a beautiful market town well worth exploring - with the countryside on your doorstep or for the more ambitious it offers horse riding, cycling, hiking and (wild or leisure centre) swimming! National Trust Properties are also nearby and plenty of Castles to explore a short drive away. There’s also a market twice a week on Thursday and Saturdays and lots of local shops boutiques and delis to discover Please ask for more details if required. Hope to see you in Southwell soon …
