Fiesole is a great choice for visiting Florence. The bus ride to Florence takes about 25 minutes, but is totally worth it to get away from the hordes of the city. Fiesole is calm and pretty, and after a day in Florence it always felt like a relief to get back there. Sofia's place is perfect: private, quiet, spacious, and the view from the balcony is wonderful. Sofia is a great host. I'd happily stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay in Fiesole. The view from the apartment was even better than the photos suggested. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay and was a fantastic base to return to after busy days exploring Florence and the areas around Fiesole. We found the buses to and from central Florence were frequent (every 20minutes) and only took about 25 minutes. Fiesole was the perfect location to enjoy both the bustling city and the Tuscan countryside.

This is a wonderful apartment with a breathtaking view from the balcony. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a calm and peaceful base up in the hills to come home to after a busy day exploring Florence.
