Janet gave very clear directions of how to reach the cottages. Everything was clean and pristine, with plenty of amenities. Kitchen had plenty of cookware to make meals, and items like coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and cooking oil were made available. We stayed there during 30ish-degree weather, but stayed nice and toasty. The location is perfect to access nearby hiking trails like Gooseberry, Tettegouche, Bean and Bear, and more. My only complaint is the shower doesn't get as hot as I would like; it felt lukewarm to me (but like many women, I like my showers to be scalding!) It was a wonderfully quiet area; we didn't find this out till the day we left, but they also give you access to their fire pit and the trail in the woods behind their home. Overall had a lovely 2-night stay!

We've stayed at this unit multiple times and always enjoy our stay! It's a beautiful and comfortable space, easy to settle in for a quiet vacation by Lake Superior.
