This place is overpriced because of: 1. The location is terrible - the locality is full of pigs and its far from the caves (can't walk) 2. While the villa is packaged as a luxury villa, it's a simple house with one bedroom and living room on 1st floor and one bedroom on the terrace (which was locked inspite of us paying for the whole villa) Also No COVID safety protocols were being followed: 1. We were not checked for fever before checking in (so I assume that was the case for guests that checked in prior to us and would be the case for guests in future) 2. The support staff were not wearing masks inspite of repeated reminders 3. There were no sanitizers kept anywhere in the house The villa was not well kept because: 1. Kitchen did not have basic things like sugar, salt, pepper, kettles, cups (we used paper cups) 2. Kitchen tap was leaking all the time 3. Bedroom TV was not working I hope that there are more Air BnB options that come up in Badami soon ...coz I am never staying here again and would not recommend the same as well.
We had a wonderful stay in Badami. The accommodation was lovely. Vishu (Vishwanath) and Babu who were looking after us during our stay were excellent hosts. We could not have been looked after better. Thank you so much.
Fantastic Stay. Loved the hospitality extended by Babu and team. Very tastefully done interiors and comfortable rooms.
The place is great and clean but no good hotels around for good food until u can cook yourself
