What a wonderful peaceful place for a family getaway away from the busyness of life. It was secluded and quiet but not too secluded so we could still shop nearby for food. The kids loved the comfy beds and fluffy comforters and the fire pit for hotdogs and s’mores. Our families enjoyed the board games and large screen TV. The kitchen was perfect for a variety of cooking both small and large portions. And it was only 4 minutes from the Snoqualmie Falls and all the little shops! We could visit the falls both day and night because it was so close and get some ice cream in the small town. Alan and his team were responsive throughout our stay, even for our extension. Great place for families!

Unfortunately, we felt misled by the photos and description on this listing. The home is spacious but it is significantly more run-down than it appears in the photos. Carpet and doors in the bedrooms are old with numerous stains. The back porch looks neglected and nothing like the photos. Bathroom trash cans are rusted, stained and grimy. I found stains on bedding, towels, and shower curtain. The kitchen is perhaps in the best shape but it was grimy and poorly cleaned with food/beverage stains in the cupboards and one particularly large/baffling splatter of something brown on the blinds. The pans are discolored and scratched. We notified the hosts that several basic kitchen items were missing and they quickly placed an order to have them replaced. Ela and Pauline (we did not hear from Alan) were responsive to our feedback (everything above) and very willing to work with us to find solutions. The two stars are a reflection of that communication and responsiveness.
