Wilma's place was exactly as described and an excellent stay. The cottage is located on a hill overlooking the Bras D'Or lake which provides spectacular views. The cottage was well stocked and we were very comfortable during our stay. Wilma was a pleasure to deal with and we wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to return in the future, thanks Wilma!

Wilma’s home is beautiful and in a serene location. Full of antiques and historical memorabilia it is very nicely modernized with all the conveniences. Cell phone signal is strong as is the wifi. Driveway and parking is good for a sedan or small truck…don’t try it with a motorhome or long wheelbase van. The view is superlative. Wilma’s instructions and suggestions are clear and complete. We would definitely consider a repeat visit.

Wow! This place is an absolute gem! It was the best Airbnb we have stayed at. The cottage was beautifully appointed and impeccably clean with a great view of the water. There is a large collection of dishes and glassware along with a well-stocked spice collection that is available for use by guests. Everything was clearly labeled and precise directions were provided for recycling, etc. Although there is no washer/drier, Wilma provided directions to a nice laundromat in North Sydney. The location, while 30 miles or so from the nearest towns, was actually pretty convenient. We were interested in visiting both Louisburg and the Cabot Trail. The cottage is about halfway between both attractions.

Wilma had everything clearly marked, well stocked kitchen, beautiful area and responded immediately and recommended some nice tourist stops.
