Beautiful house! Very clean and cozy. House was perfect for my 88 year old grandmother. Very few steps, bedroom on main level, and almost zero entry shower with built in seat. Great stay for families trying to accommodate an elderly guest or someone with limited mobility. Close to many hiking trails or ski slopes too.

As soon as we walked in the door we were impressed with the beautiful high windows of the A frame and the gorgeous wood work of the plantation shutters throughout the home. It was lovely and clean, and so tastefully decorated with lots of mountain themed artwork and decor. The kitchen was stocked with high-end wolf gang puck and calphalon pots and pans and gorgeous ceramic dishes, mugs and serving bowls. We made a full Thanksgiving dinner for 6 people and we had enough dishes and serving bowls to set a beautiful table. There is a very large fire pit in the back yard, which was perfect for a large family gathering. We would highly recommend to any future guests.

The home was perfect for our group, a couples’ getaway. Cleanliness, space, privacy and excellent amenities (as shown in pictures) all met our expectations. We almost didn’t want to leave and will surely look into rebooking for future trips.

4/5 stars Overall, the cabin and its location to Sugar Mountain Resort is great. The home is just like it appears in the pictures, and we had no troubles with anything regarding the home. We really had two main issues. 1. After checking out of the house and already making it home, we realized we accidentally left some items in the living room of the house. The host was helpful in saying they would look for the items and could send them back to us shortly thereafter. But although we were told we would be called and notified when the items were found and when they shipped, we were not. I called repeatedly (3-4 times) to see if the items were found, and I had to call repeatedly (3-4 more times) to see if the items had been shipped back to us. 2. A day prior to my reservation, I called to confirm the ability to have early check-in and was told that I could arrive at 1:30PM. When I arrived at 2PM, we couldn’t check-in because the house was not ready yet. The host did provide some coupons to get rental gear nearby while I waited, but with a fussy newborn in tow - we decided to wait in the parking lot to get to the house sooner rather than later. We were able to finally check-in at 2:40PM. Granted still technically an early check-in, but also much later than we were originally told.
