Laura was very helpful and responsive of all questions I had during my stay. My guest and myself felt right at home and had a comfortable and peaceful stay. I would absolutely book with Laura again.

ASSAULT, DRUG USE, THEFT & PROSTITUTION happen often in the area - according to the officer we spoke with shortly after we arrived! Laura had called him to get rid of the addicts and homeless wandering around the front of the location and in the empty lot next door. I understand people have problems and need help but that does not mean my friends and I should be expected to stay at Laura's when most anyone would feel completely unsafe. Laura was adamant it was safe because she had "security cameras" I've never seen a security camera stop an assault or drug deal. Laura refused to refund my payment. $400 to not use Laura's place. We paid for a hotel in another part of town. Laura continued to text me for the next few hours telling me how unreasonable I was being and at one point calling me homophobic - no idea why - and saying I must hate homeless people. Laura was rude and belligerent in all our text communications. Never once did she offer even a partial refund.

This is a funky cool studio in downtown. She’s right - it’s more industrial and not residential but it’s in walking distance of restaurants. Cute garden area.
