It was a lovely place to sleep over. We were in our way from Jhb to PE and it was lovely to sleep in a comfy, clean bed. The decor was lovely and the area is very nice and quiet.

1861 was a comfortable and cozy spot for a stopover between Jo’burg and Cape Town. The unit (No. 2) was perfect for me as a solo traveller but with multiple units on the property, it would also be great option for a group of friends or a big family.

1861 Unit 2 is a great little stopover spot in Colesberg. The location is safe, peaceful and just a short walk from local restaurants. The unit has everything you need for a short stay. We especially enjoyed the company of a very friendly little cat that visited with us.
